Anniversary

I had an amazing time yesterday. 1 August it will always be the begining of Acuaj. I wasn't working that summer and because I didn't manage to invest time and patience in learning how to use Fimo, I followed what children were doing, and used terracotta and acrylics to make beads necklaces.

Last year I moved to a lovely city, in a small white house which I made my home... I feel blessed to have all these.

Shelves

I love Christmas! This year I made the home decorations myself: the wreaths, some old flower supports I decorated with fir tree leaves...

But just after Christmas, with some new book materials I got for the courses I'm studying and the Christmas gifts we received, I realised I'm running out of space in my small books unit.

So, operation 'reuse, recycle' seamed to be a funny craft idea! Victor and Alex gave me some wine wood boxes and I transformed them in a small shelving unit.

Working

I moved house, city, but this is a long and known story now. For some reason I stopped making jewellery but I still kept my colours and brushes out, for the paintings I have now in the living room.

Two days ago I opened the paper-box I use to keep the colours in, and I realise I have 20 plain clay beads left there, so I decided to start working at this new necklace. I have no idea how is going to look like, just the fact that is about a journey in the sky.

Life in this new place is amazing. It took me a while to accommodate as I have been spending the time between two part time jobs and 2 courses at the uni but I managed to make my house look like a home so I'm fine now.

I've also set up a Facebook account and I'm hoping to get to know you better (both those that supported me and also those that I don't know yet but with which I hope to become friends).

Leaving Wales

It was raining!...

With big, could drops... but I went out. My last walk... in the heart of Wales- a green, could and rainy Wales.

All of you, watching this blog, might think that I wasn't making any jewellery lately! Yes, is true! ... All the paints are in small boxes, the clay is still out, by the window, as I am afraid it will dry out if I put it in a box...

We are moving!

...In two weeks but with so many bits and pieces to pack, I thought I better put away the brushes, the paints, the boxes.
